The 3D Petri Dish® cast from this precision micro-mold has 36 toroid shaped recesses (6 x 6 array) and is used to self-assemble 3D microtissues in the shape of a toroid. The nominal dimensions of one of these recesses when formed in the 3D Petri Dish® are; outer toroid diameter: 1400μm, diameter of central peg: 600μm, trough width: 400μm and depth: 750μm. The single large cell seeding chamber above these small recesses holds a volume of 190μl. This 3D Petri Dish® fits into a standard 12 well tissue culture plate. (6 micro-molds per pack)
